About Meet Tanuja Tanuja Mahindru  |  TX RE License #846797

I'm Tanuja Mahindru, a Realtor® with Keller Williams and a mom of two boys and a dog. That combination shapes everything about how I work. When I help someone find a home, I'm thinking about more than the listing details. The commute, the neighborhood feel, the school options, what it's like to walk out the front door every morning. I think about those things for my own family, and I bring that same lens to every client.

I've lived and worked in North Texas long enough to know these communities from the inside. I know which areas are growing, where things are headed, and what daily life actually looks like street by street. This is my home. I take that seriously, and it shows in how I show up for every person I represent.

Her Background

Twenty Years of
Earned Expertise.

01 The Foundation

Two Decades of Learning
How People Think

Before real estate, I spent over twenty years in sales and marketing. That background is not incidental. It's foundational. I understand how to position a home, how to tell its story in a way that actually resonates, and how to negotiate with confidence on behalf of the people I represent.

Those instincts don't come from a training course. They come from two decades of learning how people think and what it takes to move them.

02 The Shift

Bringing Every Lesson
Into Real Estate

When I made the shift to real estate, I brought all of it with me. My listing presentations go beyond pretty photos. My buyer consultations are real conversations, not checklists.

I ask about your lifestyle, your commute, what drew you to this part of Texas, and what you've loved and hated about every place you've lived. The answers to those questions matter more than the number of bedrooms.

03 The Instinct

A Mom's Eye.
A Professional's Precision.

Being a mom has made me a sharper observer. I notice how a floor plan flows, whether natural light actually reaches the places you spend time in, and whether a neighborhood has the kind of energy that makes you want to come home at the end of the day.

Those instincts come from living real life in real homes, and they inform every showing I do regardless of who I'm working with.

04 The Philosophy

Relationships
Over Transactions.

Every client I've worked with has trusted me with something that genuinely matters. Not just a financial decision, but a life one. That weight doesn't leave me when the deal closes. I carry it through every showing, every negotiation, every call at 9pm when someone needs clarity before they sign.

I'm not chasing volume. I'm building a body of work I'm proud of, one family at a time. That's what keeps me honest, prepared, and fully present for every person who chooses to work with me.

Her Edge

What Sets Her
Representation Apart.

Not a list of features. A reflection of how she actually works and what her clients consistently experience.

Staging Intelligence

I know how buyers walk into a home and what they're feeling in the first thirty seconds. I help sellers present their home in a way that creates a real emotional connection, not just a tidy appearance. Staging is strategy. Done well, it moves homes faster and for more money, and I've seen it make the difference more times than I can count.

Marketing Instinct

Twenty years in sales and marketing taught me what earns attention and what gets scrolled past. When I list a home, it goes out with a clear story, photography that does it justice, and a targeted strategy built around the specific buyer most likely to love it. Generic marketing gets generic results. That's not how I work.

Deep Local Knowledge

I live here. My kids go to school here. My dog runs at the parks here. Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Celina and the surrounding areas are not abstract markets to me. I know which neighborhoods feed into which schools, where the new development is heading, which streets tend to hold their value, and what life in each community actually feels like day to day.

Finding the Right Fit

The right home is rarely about the finishes. It's about whether the space works for how you actually live. The neighborhood that suits your rhythm, the commute you can live with, the feeling you get when you picture yourself walking through that door at the end of the day. I listen for those things in every single conversation. The house has to fit the life, not the other way around.

A Unique Lens

The Numbers That
Guide a Home.

Numerology is the ancient study of how numbers carry meaning and energy. Tanuja weaves this perspective into her work with buyers in a quiet, intentional way. A home's address, the year it was built, the numbers that define a property can carry real significance when set against a buyer's own life path. For clients open to it, she brings this lens into the search naturally — not as a replacement for sound market analysis, but as an added layer of alignment that helps confirm what already feels right.

"The right home doesn't just look right on paper. It feels right when you walk through the door. I help clients find both."

Life Path  ·  Resonance  ·  Alignment
Entry & Flow The First Impression of Energy
Entry & Flow

A welcoming entrance facing an auspicious direction invites positive energy and abundance into the home.

Orientation Direction as Design
Orientation

The placement of rooms in relation to cardinal directions shapes the quality of daily life.

Light & Air The Breath of a Home
Light & Air

Natural light and cross-ventilation are foundational elements of a Vastu-aligned home, not just comfort factors.

Proportion & Balance When a Space Just Feels Right
Proportion & Balance

Harmonious proportions create spaces that feel inherently right, even when you cannot put your finger on exactly why.

"A home is not just walls and square footage. It is the environment in which your life unfolds. I help you find one that actually supports it."

Ancient Wisdom

Vastu Shastra &
the Energy of Home.

Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian science of architecture and spatial arrangement that connects the design and orientation of a home to the natural energies of the universe. It teaches that the way a space is positioned and organized profoundly affects the well-being, prosperity, and harmony of those who live within it.

For Tanuja, Vastu is part of her cultural heritage and personal practice. She evaluates a property through both the rigorous lens of a seasoned Realtor and the intuitive lens of someone who genuinely understands what it means for a home to feel right at a deeper level — something no other agent in this market can offer.
